Co-op Base Planning
Solarpunk supports solo play and online co-op. Steam confirms each player has a separate inventory, and groups can build together or keep their own corners in the sky.
Best Role Split
Section titled “Best Role Split”| Role | Main Jobs | Why It Helps |
|---|---|---|
| Base keeper | Crops, animals, and Energy System. | Prevents exploration from starving the base. |
| Builder | Rooms, storage, decoration, and pathing. | Keeps expansion coherent instead of scattered. |
| Explorer | Airship trips through Airships. | Finds resources while the base keeps running. |
| Automation lead | Transport routes and watering through Automation. | Turns repeated chores into systems. |
Shared Base Rules
Section titled “Shared Base Rules”- Agree which storage is shared before everyone dumps separate inventories.
- Keep power generation and batteries visible to all players.
- Separate decorative personal spaces from core production routes.
- Make an airship return spot that does not block farm or crafting traffic.
Common Co-op Failure
Section titled “Common Co-op Failure”The easiest way to lose momentum is for every player to build a different system halfway. Finish one working food and power loop before branching into separate projects.
